I will...Don made some valuable points in this post. I will not expand on them other than to remember that being open to learn is important.

Take care.

Charles T. Sometimes less is more. With this PP pre...Louisa,

Sometimes less is more. With this PP presentation you have to stay focused on what it is that you're trying to accomplish. Are you trying to demonstrate your PP skills or are you trying to provide your viewers with information they need to take back to their office with them?

The point here is that you need to come up with a balanced mix of the Wow Factor while putting the info in front of your clients. You don't want them walking away from the presentation talking about the great show they saw but ignoring the information they came to learn.

On the other hand, you don't want their snoring to drown out your presentation.

Powerpoint is just a tool, Louisa, and it's not the show. Always stay focused on what it is you're trying to achieve.

Interesting about your cereal fixation. At first I was going to suggest that you are a "cheap date" [not that you're cheap but that you're low maintenance and easy to please} but then I remembered that breakfast cereal is, pound for pound, significantly more expensive than filet mignon.

No matter where you are, Louisa, you're going to come across spoiled food or you're going to catch some bug. You can't condemn a specific food or generalize about foods prepared outside of your comfort zone and refuse to consume them. You could just as easily have taken ill off of milk from your own refrigerator.

And a good cold glass of milk can make all the difference in the world.

I remember my first meal in my dorm at Cal when I went to the table where the drinks were located. They had all of those big refrigerated boxes of milk sitting there. They had whole milk, skim milk, half & half, low fat and even chocolate milk. Being a milk man myself, I thought I'd died and gone to heaven. And the best part was that they didn't post a guard or anything so I could keep going back.

I was always brought up on low fat milk so this gave me a chance to test the waters, so to speak, and see what the differences were. Whole milk tasted so thick and skim milk tasted like water. Chocolate milk, of course, was just divine.Don Gosneyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17110247579694408858noreply@blogger.com
